Guernica + Arriva
In April 2022 the Guerníca de la Ecologia set off from Studio Claudy Jongstra in Friesland on to its first stop on its global tour. Transported by Arriva Nederland to the Pesthuis in Leiden for the NRC Future Affairs x Leiden 2022 European City of Science event, the artwork will make its way to its first destination on a specially decorated bus running entirely on HVO (Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil).
Guernica + Thonet
The initiative arose to create a special edition of the famous S33 Freischwinger by designer Mart Stam in order to take the story of the biodynamic, earthy production of textiles and vegetable dyes a step further into the world.

then the elaboration & in September 2023 the limited edition chair is actually presented in Basel/Dornach!
Guernica + Cor Unum
For the special 'Plate Project' titled Legends & Legacy, launched by the ceramic studio Cor Unum fir their 70th anniversary, Claudy Jongstra made two plates with a swirling detail from her travelling and activist artwork Guernica de la Ecología.
The collection is presentated at Alcova during the Salone del Mobile in Milan in April 2023.
